    65 % of Finnish retailers have optimized their customer’s mobile experience

    The Mobile Customer Experience Survey focused on understanding how large retailers mobile experience is integrated to the overall customer experience. 65 % of Finnish retailers have optimized their customer’s mobile experience. The most common method was by having mobile specific/responsive sites (42 %) with mobile applications (23 %) being a popular alternative.

    A rule of thumb for gamblers is to only play the games you can win. Having read the latest news from the world of commerce, one cannot but ask whether we are about to engage in a game that we simply cannot succeed at.
    In early February, the Finnish retail trade company Kesko announced that it will boost its cost-saving measures and close down one third of its Anttila department stores. The most significant reason for this was stated to be the increase in online shopping, as well as increased competition. To compensate for the closing down of its department stores, Kesko will expand the selection of products available in its online stores.
