The name of Konehuone Oy will change to Descom Data Center Solutions Oy on May 1, 2012. The company was incorporated into Descom in September 2011, when Descom Group purchased the capital stock of Konehuone Oy.

Descom celebrates its 15th Birthday!
In 1997, Timo Aarnio, Kivikari Freyberg, Antti Paksuniemi, and Jani Nurminen were studying computer science and information systems at the University of Jyväskylä. One day, they all went to sauna and talked about finding a job for the summer. In the heat of the sauna, they decided to start their own business.
