As a project manager, I have a chance to participate in a variety of IT and software development projects. I enjoy working with customers on solutions that will take their business to the next level. Managing internal development projects can be a special challenge, but one which I am happy to face. I listen, ask questions, challenge views, lead the team in the right direction, and make decisions. I enjoy speed, so to rest from work, I practice leading the way, decision-making, and negotiating the obstacles by whitewater canoeing.
Accurate product information helps me to buy what I need
If I go to, say, a sporting goods store down the street, I want to touch the product I am about to buy. At the store, I often compare the item to another similar product. A salesperson walks up at some point, tells me more about the products and makes it easier for me to choose the right one. When they offer what I need, I decide to buy it.
